Samsung has launched its new inexpensive tablet in the Galaxy Tab S10 series, called the Galaxy Tab S10 Light. The device is targeted on users who want a large screen for entertainment, note taking and productivity, but without a premium price tag of the flagship model. It comes with a 10.9-inch display, an Exynos 1380 processor, up to 8GB RAM and 8,000mAh battery. Samsung has also bundled its pen stylus in the box. Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Light: Price, Availability and Features

The Galaxy Tab S10 Light will go on sale starting from 5 September and will be available in three colors – Gray, Silver and Coral Red. Samsung has not confirmed India’s price at the launch, but the tablet will be deployed as one of the more accessible options in the Galaxy Tab S10 family. Globally, it will be available in two memory and storage combinations – 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. Storage can be carried forward through microSD cards up to 2TB.

On the hardware front, the Galaxy Tab S10 Light comes with a 10.9 -inch TFT screen with a resolution of 2112 x 1320 pixels. Samsung has included vision booster technology for better outdoor visibility, and the performance can reach the top glow of 600 nits. It also performs TV rhinland certification for low blue light emissions.

The Galaxy Tab S10 Lite is operated by the Exinos 1380 chipset, which is paired with 6GB or 8GB of RAM, which depends on the version. It boots a UI 7 out of the box android 15, with support for seven years of the main OS and safety patch update. The tablet has an 8,000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging.

In terms of cameras, the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite includes an 8-megapixel sensor and a 5-megapixel front camera for selfie and video calls. While the cameras are basic than the smartphone, they are the most tablet in this section.

The Galaxy Tab S10 Lite also comes with many Samsung’s “intelligent features”. This includes the equipment manufactured in Samsung notes, such as handwriting aid, which can convert handwriting into lessons, and resolve mathematics, which can work through equations. Split view allows two apps or documents to be used simultaneously. The tablet also supports the circle to search with Google, which allows users to find information from anywhere on the screen.

Samsung is also advancing the Galaxy Tab S10 light as an alternative to students and creators, thanks to its bundle S pen. Styles can be used to write notes, drawing, or editing documents and PDF. The device will also have access to popular apps such as Gudnots, Clip Studio Paints, Lumphuson and Dharna, some of which are available with free testing or discount as part of the launch offer.

Commenting on the launch, Changte Kim, Mobile Experience in Samsung Electronics, the head of Kim, EVP and new computing R&D team, said, “The new Galaxy Tab S10 Lite is designed to bring practical, everyday functionality for more practical, everyday functionality for more people around the world.
