The wave around the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 settled, and it is time to go to Samsung’s next major launch, which has been tipped to be in September. For some time, Samsung’s next fan edition device, called the Galaxy S25 Fe, was rumored to launch in September. According to the latest development, Tipster Arsen Lupine has revealed the color options and variants of the phone. For reference, the Galaxy S25 Fe will successor last year’s Galaxy S24 Fe and the fifth phone in the Galaxy S25 series, which will include S25, S25 Plus, S25 Edge and S25 Ultra.
According to the leakage, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Fe is set to come in two RAM and storage variants: 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB. To remember, the Galaxy S24 Fe also launched the same RAM and storage options, which means that we are not watching the upgrade in this department, at least. In addition, the phone has been tipped to get into three colors: borrowed from Navy and Ice – Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus – and borrowed from Jetblack, Galaxy S25 Edge and S25 Ultra, Minus Titanium bit.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Fe: What is expected?
From the leak render rounding the internet, it seems that the Galaxy S25 Fe is going to maintain a shiny glass finish that we usually see with Galaxy’s fan edition phone. While the phone may seem striking as its predecessor, the biggest change is expected to be a smooth construction. It is rumored that the Galaxy S25 Fe will be only 7.4 mm thick and weighs 190 grams. This will make it quite thin and lighter than the S24 Fe, which is 8 mm thick and weighs 213 grams.
Despite the smooth construction, the Galaxy S25 Fe has been extended to the convenience of a slightly larger battery than its predecessor – 4,900mAh compared to 4,700mAh on the old model. The phone is called the exynos 2400 SoC, the same chip that also provides strength to the Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus.
In addition, it is rumored to facilitate the Galaxy S25 Fe 6.7-inch Full-HD+ display-Maybe the same dynamic amoled 2x panel is borrowed from other Galaxy S25 phones. The display is to be preserved by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus Plus.
Samsung can remain clinging to the same camera hardware on Galaxy S25 Fe as last year’s S24 Fe. Rumors suggest that the Galaxy S25 Fe will have a 50-megapixel primary rear camera, which will be paired with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera with 3X optical zoom. While the resolution remains the same, it remains to be seen whether the company updates the sensor or not. However, the front camera is receiving upgrade as a 12-megapixel sensor as compared to the 10-megapixel sensor at the Galaxy S24 Fe.
