Yesterday, Samsung introduced the third new model of the Galaxy foldable line-up – confusingly, it’s called the Galaxy Z Fold8, but it’s not a successor to the Z Fold7. Instead, it’s a new (for Samsung) form factor that combines a 16:10 cover display with a 4:3 inner display.
The successor to the Z Fold7 is now called the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra. With the magic of silicon-carbon, it has a 5,000mAh battery – which is 600mAh more than its predecessor. There’s also the Galaxy Z Flip8, which is thinner and lighter, but there’s no Flip FE this time. And both the Flip and the Fold became more expensive.
