Samsung’s Galaxy A56 5G is expected to be launched soon, and leaks are giving us a good idea of what to expect. The phone, which will successor the Galaxy A55, has been seen in a detailed render and support pages, indicating on a March release. In the latest update, the popular tipster, Ivan Blass recently shared the 360-degree images of the Galaxy A56, showing its design and color options. The phone will reportly come in four colors: gray, pink, black and green. The renderrs reveal a smooth design with flat edges with a hole-panch amoled display. The island segment raised on the frame that has power and volume buttons – the first seen on the Galaxy A55 – is also returning with the Galaxy A56.
Moving backwards of the Galaxy A56, there is a redempted camera module, which now has three lenses in a black-out vertical island, as well as with an LED flash. The back panel is made of glass, while antenna lines on the frame suggest that A56 will have a metal frame instead of polycarbonate.
For glasses, the Galaxy A56 features a 6.7 -inch AMOLED display with a full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the phone can be powered by Samsung’s new Exynos 1580 chipset, which is paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Battery life can also be another strong point. The phone is asked to come with a 5,000mAh battery and support 45W fast charging. The charging bit is a large upgrade, even considering Samsung’s Vanilla Flagship Model – Galaxy S25 – still offers 25W wired charging. The software side also looks good, the device is expected to run on a UI 7 based on Android 15 out of the box.
On the camera front, the Galaxy A56 features triple-camera setup at the back, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor, 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens and 5-megapixel macro lens with OIS. For selfie, the phone may find an upgrade in a 12-megapixel front camera, which will be one step above its predecessor.
In addition to the required glasses and features, the official support pages for the Galaxy A56 also went live in areas such as India and the UK, indicating that the launch is around the corner. The model number listed on these pages, A566e/DS and A566B/DS, suggests that the phone will support dual-sim functionality.
