Samsung launched the Galaxy A07 5G, a budget-friendly phone in India on February 5. The device was initially spotted in some global markets last month. Now, it is officially available in India. It is a moderately priced phone, aimed at people who don’t want to spend a lot of money. Essentially, it is a basic phone in terms of hardware, although it has a decent sized battery of 6000mAh.

Considering that this is a budget phone, you get an entry-level display in it. The Samsung Galaxy A07 is equipped with a 6.7-inch 720×1600 PLS LCD touch screen. While the resolution is low, the screen offers up to a 120Hz refresh rate. The display offers a maximum brightness of up to 800 nits.

For the price, the Galaxy A07 5G seems to be a good phone, but by no means an upgrade from the kind of phones that were previously available in this price segment. For example, that 4GB RAM seems particularly on the low end. But then keep in mind that prices for new phones with similar hardware this year are going to be much higher than last year or the year before. This is because component prices, especially RAM prices, are set to increase significantly in 2025 and 2026.
