Samantha meets CM Vijay, says in glowing note that she was up to something big
Samantha met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay in Chennai and congratulated him on his election victory. In an Instagram note, he lauded her move into public life and said her journey can inspire the youth.

Posting pictures of the meeting, Samantha wrote that it feels special to reach Chennai as she is going to meet “our CM”.
He wrote, “I have always felt that Vijay sir was never meant to be just a hero on screen. His energy, his presence and the way people responded to him always made it seem like he was meant to be something big.”

Reflecting on her move into politics, Samantha said that what inspired her most was the courage to leave behind a successful career and take on an entirely new challenge.
He wrote, “What inspires me most is the courage it takes to step into completely new territory. To leave behind something you have already mastered and accept a challenge where the stakes are very high. Not because it is easy, but because you believe you can make a difference.”
Samantha also used the moment to reflect on purpose and public service, saying that everyone reaches a point in life where they are asked to think beyond themselves and contribute to society.
He said, “I think all of us, at some point in our lives, are called to do more. To look beyond ourselves and ask how we can contribute. Very few people actually answer that call.”
Samantha praised CM Vijay
Expressing confidence in Vijay’s leadership, Samantha wrote that she believed he would exceed expectations because of his intentions rather than the position he holds now.
“I think Vijay sir will surprise even those who already believe in him. Not because of his position, but because of the intention with which he approaches it,” Mother Inti Bangaram Actor added.

He concluded his note by wishing Vijay “the strength, wisdom and courage to stay on the path”, and said he hoped his journey would inspire young people to dream beyond the paths he had initially set for himself.

Meanwhile, Samantha is preparing for her comeback film, Mother Inti Bangaram. The upcoming film is created by the director and her husband Raj Nidimoru, directed by Nandini, and produced by Raj, Samantha and Himank Duvuru under the banner of Tralala Moving Pictures.
