Last night in the star-stamped ‘Sitare Zameen Paar’ Premier, Salman Khan ficklely revealed that Aamir Khan had offered him the film for the first time. The event also saw the presence of Shah Rukh Khan, adding the evening glamor.

At the Grand Premier of ‘Sitare Zameen Paar’ in Mumbai on June 19, Salman Khan divided everyone as he jokingly said that the film was originally introduced to him, Aamir Khan decided to take it himself. A clear exchange between the two superstars was caught on camera and has become viral online since then.
Sharing the story with Paprazi outside the site, Salman took a pinch, “He did not tell you backstory? Aamir called me to listen to the subject. I went, loved the film, and even said yes. Then I got a call – ‘I am doing the film.”

He continued with a smile, “I had praised the film so much that Aamir said,” said, “Main Phaad Dunga is Picture Mein‘This is outstanding! ,
Salman did not stop there. With his signature intelligence, he said, “Aamir also told me that he likes the film, but then, he was caught with some scripting and paperwork. I told him that I want to do it, and the next thing I know, he says, ‘I have already done.”
Aamir joined the banquet and replied with fickleness, “Is it possible that he says yes, and I come in the middle?”

Directed by RS Prasanna, ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ – a spiritual successor of the 2007 classic ‘Taare Zameen Paar’ – released in theaters on 20 June. The film stars Aamir Khan and Genelia D’Souza in the lead roles.
