Ryan Reynolds thanks Chris Evans for ‘the best moments’ in ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’
Actor Ryan Reynolds shared an emotional Instagram post dedicated to his ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ co-star Chris Evans. Evans made a cameo appearance in the film directed by Shawn Levy.

One of the best moments in Shawn Levy’s latest film ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ was actor Chris Evans’ cameo appearance as Johnny Storm from the 2005 film ‘Fantastic Four’. The film’s lead actor Ryan Reynolds, who plays Deadpool, expressed his heartfelt admiration for Evans in a lengthy Instagram post. Describing Evans as ‘absolutely the best’, Ryan shared some memorable anecdotes from the set.
Sharing a series of BTS photos from the sets of ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’, Ryan Reynolds wrote, “Thank you, @chrisevans. Some of the best moments I’ve ever experienced in a theater were written by this man. The loudest laugh I’ve ever had came from hearing Chris tell a story – about anything. And he got me again this year. Chris is one of those movie stars who is actually better than you expect. And people hold him to a high standard. He’s absolutely the best (sic).”

He added, “Part of the theme of the film is saying goodbye… and one of the gifts of working on the film was that I got to say goodbye on my own terms. Seeing Johnny Storm (even if only briefly) was like seeing someone you miss come back from the dead in a dream. An encounter that was too brief and too sweet to be real. Saying goodbye is hard. Saying goodbye to Chris Evans’ Johnny Storm was hard. But at least this time we got to say it for real (sic).”
Ryan added, “On the other hand, it wouldn’t have been necessary if he hadn’t run his fat mouth around Cassandra. Or if he hadn’t zip-zapped her skin, leaving her limbs scattered mercilessly on the ground while Clay greedily drank her blood. It was terrifying.”
spoiler ALERT! While fans were celebrating his arrival, Johnny Storm died a gruesome death. After a confrontation with the X-Men’s Pyro, he was stripped of his powers, his skin was brutally peeled off and then his body burst like a bloody balloon.
