answering a question of India Today At the trailer launch of the film, the actor said, “I haven’t even taken that much. I didn’t even get that much.(I have not taken that much and I have not received the said amount either).

Addressing the speculations, Akshay said that the film is important to him as its story is written by late director and writer Neeraj Vora.

The actor said he chose to be a part of the film because of his connection with the late writer, whom he considers one of his biggest gurus in comedy.
Recalling the people he learned from, the 58-year-old said,I have always said in my interviews that I have learned a lot about comedy from three people – Priyadarshan ji, Rajkumar Santoshi and Neeraj Vora. I have learned a lot from these three people. Neeraj has a huge contribution in this film because this story is of him and Firoz Nadiadwala. I have known Firoz for the last 36 years. I used to visit him often during my struggling days.

Disha Patani on tall height forever
At the same event, Disha Patani talked about working on the film and shooting the recreated track. Tall height forever. He described it as one of the most memorable journeys of his career and said that he enjoyed working with director Ahmed Khan.
She said, “This is my second film with Ahmed Khan, sir and it’s the most beautiful journey ever. Coming to the set was literally like a school trip every day. We all became friends. It’s one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. I’m extremely grateful,” she said, adding, “I’m a huge fan of Katrina Kaif and I loved the song. I still remember I told Akshay sir ‘Can you please bring the song?’ And we used to dance to this track all the time.
About Welcome to the Jungle
Unlike earlier films, which largely unfolded amid urban chaos, welcome to the jungle Moves the action to a jungle setting. Akshay Kumar has returned to the franchise after leaving the second installment. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani and Tusshar Kapoor.
The film, directed by Ahmed Khan, will be released in theaters on June 26.
