John Abraham and Rohit Shetty are set to cooperate on a new project inspired by the life and career of former Mumbai Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria.
As Mid -dayUntitled film is based on Maria’s autobiography I should now say this and his visit from a young boy in Bandra will be included in a major investigation for a senior police officer, including the 1993 Bombay blast and 26/11 terrorist attacks.
An industry source told the publication, ,Rohit always wanted to make a police film. Rakesh Maria’s life reads like a thriller. It is intense and has many high points, on their brush with the 1993 Bombay blasts and 26/11 attacks with the underworld. Maria and Shetty are interacting for a while, and it is finally starting now,
The film will be allegedly shot at around 40 actual places in Mumbai, including Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Dongri and Taj Mahal Palace Hotel.
