Actor and filmmaker Rishabh Shetty is already eyeing his next release. The 46-year-old’s next film, Jai Hanuman, is a sequel to Hanuman, releasing in 2024. According to a report in 123 Telugu, the launch day of the film will be on February 22. A grand event is reportedly being organized in the historical town of Hampi, in which fans are expected to participate.

The upcoming action, adventure, fantasy and mythological film Jai Hanuman is reportedly expected to be announced to the world on February 22 through a big event in Hampi, Karnataka. It is being said that director Prashant Verma has completed the scripting process of the film. Furthermore, most of the pre-production process has also been completed and the filming is expected to begin soon.
Earlier, it was reported that actor Rishabh Shetty will play the role of Lord Hanuman in the sequel of the film. Shooting is scheduled to begin in April 2026, with expectations high for the second installment following the massive success of the original Hanuman, which released on January 12, 2024. It managed to gross six or seven times its budget, earning a box office record of Rs. Earned Rs 223 crore in his lifetime in India. 278 crores worldwide.

Prashant Varma is returning to expand the universe he first created.
