Actress Rimi Sen has accused carmaker Land Rover of causing her mental harassment due to ongoing repair problems with her luxury car. The actress has filed a lawsuit against a luxury carmaker, seeking Rs 50 crore in damages for alleged defects and mental harassment related to her vehicle.

She cited problems with the sunroof, sound system and rear-end camera as primary concerns. Rimi Sen bought the car in 2020 for Rs 92 lakh but has faced several issues since then, due to which she accused the company of negligence and emotional distress in her complaint. The ‘Hungama’ actor claimed that the car’s defects and the company’s behaviour towards repairs have caused her immense mental agony, forcing her to take legal action.

As per NDTV report, the vehicle was purchased from Satish Motors Pvt Ltd, an authorised dealer of Jaguar Land Rover, with a warranty valid till January 2023.

In her complaint, Rimi Sen said that her car collided with a pole on August 25, 2022 due to a fault in the rear-end camera. She alleges that the dealer has been ignoring her concerns, repeatedly asking for proof before addressing the issues. This has resulted in her having to get frequent repairs done.

Apart from acting in films like ‘Dhoom’, ‘Golmaal-Fun Unlimited’, Rimi Sen has appeared in the TV reality shows ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9’ and ‘Bigg Boss 9’.
