The Real Housewives of Orange County star Alexis Bellino has announced her engagement to her partner John Janssen, a successful businessman. He proposed marriage on August 27 in Santa Barbara, California.
According to People, to commemorate their nine-month relationship, John Janssen took the big step and put a ring on his partner Alexis Bellino’s finger. The 47-year-old reality star got engaged to his partner Janssen, who is 61, at the luxurious San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, where they went for the holidays.
Bellino shared the news of her engagement on Instagram. In the photo she shared with Janssen, a large diamond ring can be seen on her finger. She captioned, “Happy to celebrate 9 months of love and laughter and looking forward to spending forever with you. Every moment together has been a gift. I love you so much and the beautiful life we are building together. And the answer is 100000000% yes.”
A representative for the couple confirmed to the outlet that the couple is engaged and are excited to become husband and wife.
The couple’s romance made headlines in December 2023, which began after they met in Orange County in November of that year. Bellino said that despite their efforts to suppress their emotions, they both admitted their feelings with the RHOC star saying, “We tried to fight the feelings after the second week, John and I knew it was over.”
Both of them had already ended long-term relationships, from which they have three children each. This helped their relationship as they were also going through the same phase.
In December 2023, Janssen also gifted Bellino a gold and diamond promise ring, which she revealed on Instagram, writing, “Words cannot. Actions do. I will no longer feel guilty. I will not apologize. Love will create its own story. I love you Johnny J.”
Alexis Bellino and John Janssen continue to express their love, while some fans have expressed negative feelings and disagreements about the couple within the RHOC circle. The Real Housewives of Orange County airs every Thursday night on Bravo.
