Pavitra Gowda, the main accused in the Renukaswamy murder case, was released from Parappana Agrahara Central Jail on Tuesday. According to PTI, Karnataka High Court has recently granted conditional bail to the actress. Darshan and other accused persons, including Anu Kumar alias Anu, R Nagaraju, Jagdish alias Jagga, Laxman M and Pradush S Rao, were also released on bail.

After coming out of jail, Pavitra Gowda visited the Vajra Muneshwara Temple in Talaghattapura with her family. There he performed special prayers for darshan. During the prayers, the actress reportedly became emotional and circled the temple carrying incense sticks. After completing the rituals, she avoided talking to the media. He simply said “Thank you” before leaving in his car.

His family followed temple traditions and broke gourds of ashes to keep away evil spirits. The event was witnessed by paparazzi and spectators.

Meanwhile, Darshan was arrested on June 11 along with Pavitra Gowda and 15 others linked to the murder case. Earlier, the Kannada actor was granted interim bail due to medical reasons. He was released from Ballari jail on 30 October after spending more than four months in custody. The High Court had allowed him to be released for six weeks to undergo spinal surgery.

However, if reports are to be believed, the actor did not undergo his surgery and was discharged from the hospital. On the other hand, Darshan’s brother Dinakar and friend Dhanveer provided surety for his bail. Dinakar signed personal bonds worth Rs. Under the terms and conditions Rs 1 lakh.

The Kannada actor also submitted an application to get his passport back. Unlike interim bail, this condition was not part of his regular bail, and the lawyer confirmed that the court had agreed to return the passport.
