Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Smart Fire TV 32 2024 Edition in India, the latest version of their popular smart TV lineup that replaces last year’s model. The new model runs on Fire OS and comes with a 32-inch HD-ready display powered by Vivid Picture Engine technology and improved audio capabilities. Like last year’s TV, the 2024 Edition also features an Alexa voice-enabled remote, using which you can perform various functions at the click of a button. The TV has a metal bezel-less frame and comes with a 3-side borderless design.

The Redmi Smart Fire TV 32 2024 Edition is priced at Rs 11,999. However, customers can avail a discount of Rs 1,000 using ICICI Bank cards, bringing down the effective price to Rs 10,999. The TV will be available for purchase on mi.com, Amazon and Flipkart from June 12.

The Redmi Smart Fire TV 32 2024 Edition comes equipped with a 32-inch HD-ready display (1366—768 pixels) with a viewing angle of 178 degrees. Redmi claims that the display is enhanced by Vivid Picture Engine technology, which ensures vibrant and sharp visuals. Additionally, it has an auto low latency mode and 6.5ms response time, making it suitable for gaming and fast-paced content. The TV has a 96.9 percent screen-to-body ratio with a 3-side borderless design.

Under the hood, the TV is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core Cortex A35 processor, paired with Mali-G31 MP2 GPU. The device includes 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The smart TV runs on Fire TV OS 7, which offers access to over 12,000 apps, including popular streaming services such as Prime Video, Netflix, and Disney+ Hotstar. This extensive app support ensures that users have a variety of entertainment options at their fingertips.

The Redmi Smart Fire TV 32 2024 Edition also features a Redmi Voice Remote with Alexa integration. This remote comes with dedicated buttons for TV guide, playback controls, channel navigation, mute, and quick access to Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, and Amazon Prime Music. This user-friendly remote makes it easy to navigate and control the TV with voice commands and quick shortcuts.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11ac (supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands), AirPlay, and Miracast for wireless streaming. The TV also features Bluetooth 5.0 for connecting peripherals. Physical connectivity options include 2 HDMI 2.1 ports (one with ARC), 2 USB 2.0 ports, a 3.5mm audio jack, an Ethernet port, and an antenna input.

The TV supports multiple codecs, including AV1, H.265, H.264, Real and MPEG1/2/4, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of video formats. For audio, there are two 10W speakers, offering a total output of 20W. These speakers are enhanced with Dolby Audio, DTS-HD and DTS Virtual technology.
