Ajay Devgan and Aamir Khan shared the screen together in the film Ishq in 1997. Their bromance in Indra Kumar’s film is still remembered and celebrated by many cinema lovers. While the audience thoroughly enjoyed watching them in the rom-com, the actors also had a memorable time on the sets. During a recent event, the actors recalled their forest fire incident, in which Khan was running around shouting ‘save, save’.
Some time ago, Aamir Khan and Ajay Devgan attended the muhurat ceremony of Milap Zaveri’s next film Tera Yaar Hoon Main, which marks the acting debut of filmmaker Indra Kumar’s son Aman. During the public interaction, he went down memory lane and recalled sharing screen space in Ishq, which also starred Kajol and Juhi Chawla.
Sharing old memories, the Taare Zameen Par actor revealed that while filming a scene from the comic film, a chimpanzee started attacking him. To this the Singham Again star said that it was Khan who had provoked the chimpanzee by spraying water on him.
Ajay shared, “Then started running here and there shouting ‘bachao bachao'”, to which Aamir immediately added that that’s when Devgan’s action skills came in handy. The PK actor added, “He saved me by pulling me out of the moving car. “
As he talked about the film, the Missing Ladies producer said that he feels very happy whenever he meets Ajay. “We do not meet often, but when we do it is always with warmth and love. I really like that guy,” he expressed.
Ajay also accepted this and said that he had a lot of fun during the shooting of the film Ishq. “We should definitely do another one,” he said, getting fans excited for a possible Ishq 2 reunion.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Aamir was last seen leading Laal Singh Chaddha alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan. He is currently preparing for the release of Sitare Zameen Par alongside Darsheel Safary and Genelia Deshmukh.
As far as Ajay Devgan is concerned, he recently shared the screen with Bebo in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again alongside Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor and Jackie Shroff.
