In January, Realme P4 Power made a splash with its 10,001mAh battery. Since then, there have been several P4 models that offer different combinations of battery capacity, chipset performance, camera and display quality. Now a completely new member has arrived.
realme p4r It has an 8,000mAh battery, which is the second largest battery in the series after the P4 Power. It is a Si/C battery with relatively fast 45W charging (including PPS). Realme advertises that on a single charge, the P4R can deliver up to 12 hours of gaming, 61 hours of calls or up to 169 hours of music playback.

However, in terms of performance the P4R is closer to the P4 Lite – in fact, the two phones are very similar. They have 6.8″ IPS LCDs with a 144Hz refresh rate and only 720p+ resolution. They are powered by the Dimensity 6300 with 4GB of RAM by default and 6GB as an upgrade.

There’s a microSD slot for additional storage – the P4R comes with 128GB or 256GB built-in. Importantly, it has fast UFS 2.2 storage, while the Lite model only has eMMC chips.
There are some upgrades, for example a larger battery (the Lite has a 7,000mAh battery) and water resistance that has increased to IP65 (from IP64). Also, the new phone has been drop-tested from 1.8m. And there is an RGB notification light at the back.
The camera could be the second biggest upgrade with a 50MP main and 8MP selfie camera. That might not sound like a lot, but it’s a lot better than the 13MP main and 5MP selfies on the Lite – and remember this is an affordable model.

For comparison, the Realme P4 Lite was launched at ₹13,000 for the 4/64GB phone and ₹14,000 for the 4/128GB variant, which is the same as the P4R base model.
