Realme is set to officially unveil its GT 7 series in India at 1:30 pm today. The launch event will be streamful live on the company’s official YouTube channel. Realme’s previous GT 6 was introduced at a price of Rs 40,999, and the upcoming Realme GT 7 is expected to be launched in the same range, which is less than Rs 45,000. This is expected to rival other upper middle-range smartphones such as OnePlus 13R.

Next to the launch, several details about Realme GT 7 and GT 7T have been revealed online. Both phones will allegedly come in two color options – Isain Black and Assens Blue – While GT7T will have an additional racing yellow version. Realme is designed to offer better grip and skin comfort with a laser-etched metal frame and a rear coating in a new design approach.

GT 7 features a 6.78 -inch LTPS AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and extreme brightness of 6,000 NITs. This Corning Gorilla Glass can also come with 7 ii protection. The GT 7T model is rumored to offer a similar performance with a slightly larger 6.8-inch screen and matching specifications.

Under the hood, the GT 7 and GT 7 Dream Edition is expected to be operated by the new MediaTek DIMENG 9400E Chipset built on the 4Nm process. The chipset consists of a mixture of Cortex-X4 and Cortex-A720 core, as well as ARM Immortalis-G720 GPU and MediaTek’s APU 790. The GT7T will probably feature a dimative 8400 Max chip, including Cortex-A725 core, ARM Mali-G720 MC7 GPU, and Mediatech NPU, and Mediatech NPU 880.

Battery specifications for the GT7 series have also been detected. Both GT 7 and GT 7T are called support for 120W fast charging through the 7,000mAh battery and through USB Type-C. GT 7 is also confirmed to facilitate a dedicated battery chip aimed at reducing heat and improving battery longevity, although it is not clear that this chip will be present in GT 7T.
