Reaction to Chikitu song from Anirudh Cool on Rajinikanth’s response: We can tell that he enjoyed
Rajinikanth’s ‘Coolie’ is one of the most anticipated Indian films of the year, and the recently released song, ‘Chikitu’, composed by Anirudh Ravichandar, is a proof of this. The composer recently revealed what was Rajinikanth’s reaction after hearing the song.

Beyond the theatrical release of the film on 14 August, the makers of ‘Cool’ from Rajinikanth-Starr named ‘Chikitu’ have unveiled the first single. The Cool Beat Number composed by Anirudh Ravichander has already created enthusiasm among fans, to show Rajinikant in a retro ‘Tapri.
In a video shared by Sun Pictures, Anirudh revealed the superstar’s response on the track. “Rajni sir has a practice where he does not listen to a song before shooting, except ‘Hukam’. This time he heard it only during the shoot, and the way we see him performing, we can tell that he enjoyed doing so,” Anirudh said.
He said that Rajinikanth admitted that it was challenging to dance on the track. “After the first day of the shoot, he said that he likes the song, but it would be difficult for him to dance, as his old and dancing style. When we saw the scene, we flew away.

Anirudh also credited director Lokesh Kanagaraja, given that he was a fan of T. Rajhandhar, and praised Choreographer Sandy Master for bringing the sequence alive. The music video features scenes of ‘Kooli’ and Anirudh’s shots, with T. Rajahenher and lyricist-gonner Arivu.
Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraja, ‘Cooli’ stars Rajinikanth in the lead role. Action Entertainer introduced Nagarjuna Akkini and Upendra Rao in decisive roles, while Aamir Khan is asked to make a cameo appearance. Pahanwa artists also include Shruti Haasan, Saubin Shahir, Satyaraj and Pooja Hegde, which will appear in a dance number.
On the work front, Rajinikanth is currently shooting for ‘Jailor 2’, which is the sequel to the release of 2023.
