Actress Rashmika Mandanna’s recent comment about ‘one should experience period pain’ on Jagapathi Babu’s talk show – ‘Jayamu Nishchayamu Ra’ sparked controversy. While replying to a fan on social media, he mentioned being scared of going to the show after the criticism.

In response to the backlash, a fan of Rashmika attempted to clarify the context of the comment by sharing a show clip on X (formerly Twitter). Her post included this text: “Rashmika’s perspective on men’s periods :))) Sometimes all we want is for our pain and feelings to be understood. It was never about comparison or minimizing male responsibilities.. but fragile egos decided to twist it that way.”

‘The Girlfriend’ actor responded to the post and clarified that his comments are often misinterpreted. He wrote, “And no one will talk about it.. this is the fear of going on shows and interviews for me.. I mean something else and it has been taken to something else entirely.. 🙁 (sic).”
