After her wedding and post-wedding rituals and celebrations, Rashmika has officially resumed shooting for the film. The actor reposted a story shared by director Ravindra Pule on Instagram. The visuals show the team filming across a vast landscape, which immediately resembles an intense thriller.

The makers have recently released its first look massaIn which Rashmika is shown in a raw and attractive new form. The teaser of the film depicts a grim and unforgiving world driven by pain, survival and boiling anger. A mother’s voice speaks about a daughter who refuses to bow to death, establishing the emotional center of the story.
Rashmika is seen portraying a character built through struggle with fierce energy, physical presence and a sharp gaze. His rising anger points toward an inevitable and violent clash, suggesting a story defined by his refusal to back down.
While sharing the teaser on Instagram, the actor wrote, “massa. This is just the tip of the iceberg. We just wanted to do something fun for an evening to show you the current world and the serious stuff? Ohhohohohoooo you will see it in a few months. So enjoy (sic)!”
Directed by debutant Ravindra Pule and produced by Unformula Films, massa It has been described as an emotional action thriller. Based on the culturally rich background of Gond tribes. Rashmika plays the role of a Gond woman in the film, a role different from her previous performances.
The actor also acted in Hindi horror-comedies Thamma (2025), starring actors Ayushmann Khurrana, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Paresh Rawal in the lead roles.
