Announcing his upcoming film, Ranveer Singh wrote, “This is for my fans, who have been so patient with me, and have been pushing for a change like this. I love you all, and I promise you, this time, a cinematic experience like never before. With your blessings, we set out on this great, big motion picture adventure with passionate energy and pure intention. This time, it’s personal.”
Aditya Dhar, who is married to actor Yami Gautam, made history as the first debut director to gross ₹350 crore with ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’. His next major project stars Ranveer Singh, which comes after his hit romantic-comedy ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’.
Rumours of this director-actor collaboration have been rife in the film industry for weeks, creating much excitement and anticipation for the pair’s potential box-office success. Dhar was reportedly able to assemble this impressive cast due to his extraordinary vision for the film and its engaging story.
The film is produced by Jyoti Deshpande of Jio Studios, along with Lokesh Dhar and Aditya Dhar under their banner B62 Studios. The project comes after the success of their recent release ‘Article 370’. Principal photography for this theatrical production has now officially begun.
