YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia created an Instagram post addressing ‘Dear Pakistani brothers and sisters’, but was later removed after facing backlash from social media users. His position came between Operation Sindoor in Pakistan against terrorist centers and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir in Pakistan. The popular podcaster was slammed to the left, right and center to make an inappropriate ‘joke’ about parents earlier this year.

Allahabadia accepted that he could invite another controversy by creating that post. A part of his post was read, “I will hate many Indians for this, but this is important to say. Like many Indians, I do not hate you in my heart. Many of us also want peace. Whenever we meet Pakistanis, you always welcome love (SIC).”

Social media users and a part of their followers called them out to hurt national sentiments and insult the Indian armed forces, who launched Operation Sindoor last week in response to the barbaric Pahgam terror attack, which claimed 26 innocent lives, mostly tourists, including a foreign national.

Read his post further, “Dil to sorry sorry (I am apologizing under my heart if you feel that we are spreading hatred). Indians who have met Pakistanis understand you. However, both Indian and Pakistani media (news channels) are currently spreading lies (SICs). ,

Allahabadia listed three points, which included Pakistan’s terrorists in preservation. Then he wrote, “But I care you, not them. That’s why … (SIC).” He concluded his position: “This is not: ‘Indian people vs Pakistani people’.

Due to this post, Allahabadia was severely criticized on social media. One user wrote, “‘Dil to sorry lag hai that Indians hate Pila Rahe Han’ This is what Ranveer Allahbadia said in his support to Pakistan. The nation was right to threaten this piece of garbage (SIC). “Another user said,” shameful. Ranveer Allabia aka Beer Biceps openly support Pakistanis – then quietly removes his positions after backlash. This happens when we support the wrong affected people and make them viral (SIC). ,

A social media user called it ‘hypocrisy’. “It is insulting our brave armed forces. And on your behalf, it is hypocrisy at its peak. Shame on you! (SIC).”

A day after the removed post by Allahbadia and Pakistan confirmed a ceasefire. Earlier on Saturday evening, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri announced that, after talks between the directors of the military operations (DGMO) of the two countries, India and Pakistan had agreed to stop the effective land from 5 pm on Saturday in the evening, in the air, and all the firing and military operations in the sea.

Three hours after the announcement, Pakistan violated the ceasefire. However, shelling and drone attacks stopped overnight.
