Riddhima Kapoor Sahni has been in the news since her on-screen debut in Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives S3. His style, emotional confessions and demeanor appealed to many people. Recently, he opened up about the constant and unnecessary trolling of his family, brother Ranbir and especially sister-in-law Alia Bhatt.
Among other discussions about the appreciation she has received from the show, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni discussed the dark side of showbiz, trolling, in an interview with News18. “People are always looking for something to say. People assume it’s all about privilege, but they don’t see what we’re going through,” he said.
Along with this, Kapoor admitted to being proud and secure in his life. She expressed gratitude for having a wonderful family with a supportive husband, daughter, brother and sister-in-law.
Since people who have contacts in the film industry are trolled under the title of being ‘privileged’, Riddhima explained to them that being privileged means having a loving family and bringing content. She admitted that she is not affected by trolling as she believes that people will judge.
Despite the positive appreciation she received with her debut, she also felt it important to speak about trolling. Also during the post-release interview with Galata India, she revealed that after her father Rishi Kapoor’s demise, her family was trolled for celebrating even though no one knew what they were doing.
He said, “People will always find a reason to talk. People’s job is to speak, they will speak. They will judge because it is easy to criticize. When you make a mistake, ten people immediately jump on you, but will they “Applause when you rarely do anything good.”
Before Kapoor, his sister-in-law Alia Bhatt had slammed online trolls through a post criticizing her for getting cosmetic surgery done. He dismissed the rumors as baseless and expressed his support for the individual choice. He also wrote, “What’s worse is that you are influencing young, impressionable minds who may believe this garbage.”
