Launch plans and early teaser

Cast and release timeline

Rakul Preet Singh plays the role of Surpanakha and Kunal Kapoor plays the role of Lord Indra in the film. It is directed by Nitish Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios in association with DNEG and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations. The music is composed by AR Rahman and Hans Zimmer.
The two-part epic will release in IMAX worldwide, with Part 1 arriving on Diwali 2026 and Part 2 arriving on Diwali 2027. The budget of the film is reportedly Rs 4,000 crore.
