Ramayana is one of the most anticipated projects in Bollywood. The lead role went on the floor around April 2024 under the direction of Ranbir Kapoor starring Nitesh Tiwari. And now, a year later, it seems that the wait of fans is about to end. It turns out that the first look of Magnum Oppus can be launched in a grand program very soon.
According to a recent report by Bollywood Hungama, the producers of Ramayana are planning to share the first official glimpse of the film at the upcoming World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (Waves).
For uninvited call, grand events waves will take place from May 1 to May 4, 2025 at the Jio World Center in Mumbai. Many popular personalities of the film industry are expected to obey the incident. It has already been announced that Ranbir Kapoor and producer Namit Malhotra will be present.
According to the source of the above portal, the Ramayana team will share an update during the incident. The source said, “The film’s team will get a grand platform to demonstrate their product and catch a lot of eyeballs. Waves will also benefit with broad coverage.”
The report further mentions that a poster or clip can be released from the much awaited film. However, it should be noted that these plans are still in progress and a final decision is yet to be taken.
The official announcement of the Ramayana was made in November 2024 when producer Namit Malhotra shared the dramatic release dates of two-part saga. He wrote, “Join us because we fulfill our dreams of bringing our greatest epic to life with pride and reverence … Part 1 in Diwali 2026 and Part 1 in Diwali 2027.”
