The premiere introduced a beautiful and confident girl named Mona, who becomes the center of attention after transferring to a Tokyo high school. However, her new classmate Medaka appears unimpressed by her charms, leaving Mona disappointed.
She employs increasingly bold tactics to get his attention, but Medaka remains aloof. When he helps her after trips, Mona begins to feel a genuine attraction towards him. Later, Medaka reveals that she is a monk-in-training who is forbidden from love. He also secretly has a crush on Mona.
