The much-awaited animated film Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama is all set to release in Indian theatres on October 18, 2024. The film will release in four languages ​​- Hindi, English, Tamil, and Telugu.

On September 19, the makers of the film, Geek Pictures India, took to social media to announce the release of the film by sharing a teaser and poster. The caption below the post read, “A story as old as time and forever alive in every heart. Ramayan: The Legend of Prince Rama is coming to cinemas across India on October 18 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and English! Teaser out now.”

This fresh, dynamic portrayal of the timeless tale of Rama will undoubtedly touch the hearts of audiences across regions and age groups, and bring this epic alive in a way never seen before.”

Releasing during the Indian festivals of Dussehra and Diwali, The Legend of Prince Rama promises to be a cinematic celebration, combining the cultural richness of India with the vibrancy of Japanese anime. The film’s theatrical release in India was banned in 1995.

Distributed across India by Geek Pictures India, AA Films and Excel Entertainment, the film is set to garner audiences across the country.
