Ram Charan’s wrestler avatar from Peddi revealed, shocked fans’ reaction
Ram Charan’s latest Pedi glimpse has revealed a surprising new avatar which has left fans questioning the story of the film. The unexpected change from the earlier promo has sparked widespread curiosity online.
A new glimpse of Ram Charan from the upcoming sports drama pedi Unveiled on the actor’s 41st birthday. Short video shows him as a Wrestler (The wrestler) participated in mud wrestling, which surprised fans as earlier promotional material had shown him only as a cricketer.
The 44-second clip starts with a voice-over explaining that wrestling is very different from cricket. It says, “This is a game where you face death itself,” and asks, “Now tell me, do you want to stay or go away?” Ram Charan is seen with his hair tied in a manbun, training and wrestling with skill. He also says, “Listen darling. My pride is in my game.”

However, the new look confused many fans because all past promotions had portrayed Ram as a rural cricketer dressed in bright shirts and trousers. Some viewers on social media expressed surprise and speculated whether he might be playing dual roles.
“All these days I kept thinking Peddie was all about cricket,” one fan wrote on X (formerly Twitter). Another asked, “You came to wrestling from cricket, what are you planning Buchi Babu Sana?” Shows the confusion caused by the new glimpse.
pedi This is director Buchi Babu’s second film after Sana’s 2021 hit Subpoena. The film is produced by Venkat Sathish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, co-produced by Ishaan Saxena of IVY Entertainment, and presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings.
The cast includes Ram Charan, Janhvi Kapoor, Shiv Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu and Divyendu. This film is going to be released in theaters on April 30.
