Ram Charan and Upasana Konidela’s newborn babies have finally got beautiful names. In a close naming puja, the celebrity couple named their son Shivaram and their second daughter Anvira Devi. Both of these traditional names hold great importance, making them more meaningful and special.
Speaking to Variety India, Ram revealed that naming his newborns was a deeply personal and spiritual decision for him and his wife Upasana. After discussing for a long time and taking suggestions from their elders they came up with such powerful names. The RRR actor revealed that his son’s name Shivram refers to Lord Shiva and Lord Rama. It symbolizes strength with restraint, devotion with righteousness.
Additionally, it also carries forward the birth name of his father, veteran star Chiranjeevi, which is Shiv Shankar Var Prasad. “There is lineage and gratitude built into it,” expressed the proud father. Sharing the meaning of his daughter Anvira Devi’s name, the actor said that it represents immense courage and divine feminine power.
He further explained, “Veera symbolizes bravery, and N expands it to something limitless.” He intentionally added Devi to his name, to remind him that power and grace can co-exist. “For us, these names are not just identifiers. They are aspirations of strength, love and courage,” underlined the famous actor.
The couple made the official announcement after the arrival of their children. In the note, the parents expressed, “Having two daughters and a son fills us with immense gratitude. The women in our lives have been our biggest strength. I am extremely grateful to all our fans, family and well-wishers who have stood by us and supported us every moment.” (Thus)
