Actress Rajshri Deshpande has revealed on social media that she has been diagnosed with Grade 1 breast cancer and recently underwent surgery. She is now recovering and expressed gratitude for the early detection.
Actress Rajshri Deshpande has revealed that she has been diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer, sharing the news with courage and clarity in an emotional social media post.
On Wednesday, Rajshri shared a photo from her hospital bed and revealed that she has been diagnosed with grade 1 infiltrating ductal carcinoma (NOS). The condition was discovered during routine check-ups and detected early, which significantly improved their immunity, he said. She also confirmed that she has undergone surgery and is now recovering.

“As you’re reading this, it means I’ve finally found the courage to tell my parents that I’ve been diagnosed with Infiltrating Ductal Carcinoma (NOS), Grade 1 breast cancer. Now it’s time for you all to know,” she wrote.
Calling the discovery unexpected, the actor described the past few weeks as overwhelming but ultimately promising. She shared, “Luckily we caught it early in a routine checkup, which gave us a fighting chance. Lots of tests and surgeries felt like a rollercoaster ride, but trust me, it was everyone’s love and warmth that kept me going.” Thinking about seeing her parents after the surgery, she said, “And seeing the faces of my mother and father after the surgery, my fear turned into unbreakable strength.”

Rajshree expressed her deep gratitude to her medical team, especially Dr Mandar Nadkarni and the staff of Kokilaben Hospital for their care and guidance during her treatment. She wrote, “With everyone’s support, I feel like I’m ready to take on the world. Now, I’m recovering well and will be going home from the hospital soon.” She wrote, “Many thanks to Dr. Mandar Nadkarni of Kokilaben Hospital – his expertise and care made this journey even easier. Your love is truly my greatest medicine. Here’s to healing, hope and all the brighter days to come.”
