Prince Harry traveled to Angola last week, working for the future of child safety in the region. Duke’s kind work was highly praised by his fans, who also compared her work with her mother, princess Diana.
After his return from the unqualified country, a former royal family member issued a statement, referring to the conditions of children in the area.
Prince Harry’s heartbreaking statement posts his Angola trip
Prince Harry mentioned in his official statement that it broke his heart after seeing the conditions of children in the landmine areas of Angola.
The father of two said, “As the father of young children, it breaks my heart that innocent children are still playing and playing next to the mines.”
The statement further states, “It is the duty of all of us that we have a duty to protect children and future generations from the loss of war, both present and past.”
Duke continued, “This commitment is more than removing deadly equipment. It is about unlocking capacity in a country that has a lot to safely go to school, allowing farmers to grow crops, attract sustainable growth and bring back wildlife tourism.”
Meanwhile, Harry marked his first visit to the dangerous region since 2013. Earlier, Princess Diana had made her way into the landmine region. The last visit of Angola, former Princess of Wales, came in 1997.
He died later in the same year. However, to keep her mother’s good work alive, Prince Harry ensures help and care to children living close to landmine areas.
