One of the most permanent and influential figures of Indian cinema, superstar Rajinikanth has completed 50 years in the film industry – a milestone celebrated with deep pride by his daughter, Soundaria Rajinikanth. In a heartbreaking post, he also praised his performance in his recent film ‘Cooli’.
In a moving social media post, Soundary reflected his father’s unique visit. “50 years, Appa. You are not part of cinema, you have shaped it, defined it again, raised it, and have taken it to places that were never before (SIC),” he wrote.
Expressing my praise and love, he said, “I am a proud daughter, and I love you more, I can ever say the last 10 minutes flashback of the cool – I look again and again, and be happy every once. You are the best, Appa. One and only one. Thalaor Nirndaram (SIC).”

Rajinikanth, who has re -defined the idea of stardom over five decades, is currently seen in Lokesh Kanagaraja’s ‘Cool’.
India has written in today’s review of ‘Cooli’, “Rajinikanth’s charisma, WIT, and screen appearance remains strong on 74. A single close -up of her eye is enough to make the audience energetic, and ‘Kooli’ is heavy on such moments. – But this time, these elements do not resonate accordingly.”
It continued, “The main issue with ‘Coolie’ is the overstfing of ideas. The film begins as a revenge thriller – a man seeking answers to his friend’s death – soon turns into a story about a common man, which exposes a crime syndicate. The transition is not smooth, which does not smooth, which does not miss you, but not as a whole.”
