When I saw him searching for food in great hunger in the climax and in the scene where his mother cries thinking that she did not let her son eat a handful of rice, my heart ached. Mari Selvaraj has proved with his creation that he is a great director. My heartiest wishes and congratulations to him,” the veteran actor wrote.
