Earning 20.50 crores at Hindi box office. Released on January 9, 2026, The Raja Saab took a disappointing start and then recorded poor trends at the box office in its two-week theatrical run.
The fantasy horror-comedy entertainer has collected Rs. Earned Rs. 18.75 crore in its opening week. A huge decline of almost 90 percent was recorded in its second week, when it made just Rs. 1.75 crore at the box office, total two week collection of Rs. Net 20.50 crores in Hindi. Raja Saab received bad reviews among the audience, which is why the film could not do much at the box office. Had the film received a positive response, things might have been a little different.
Prabhas has got success at the Hindi box office since the film Baahubali. However, that success has been largely limited to the action genre or films with a devotional or religious background. Apart from these two, he has failed to score, first with Radhe Shyam and now with The Raja Saab.
Made on a huge budget under People Media Factory, The Raja Saab turned out to be a major disaster at the box office. All eyes are now on the actor’s next release Fauji. The period action drama is reportedly scheduled for release on Independence Day 2026.
