Raja Saab collected Rs. Around ₹9.50 crore in its second weekend at the Indian box office. This marks a massive decline of 83 percent compared to its opening weekend, with its ten-day total earning Rs. Has reached. About 146.50 crores in India. Overseas, the Prabhas starrer earned Rs. approximately ₹32.50 crore (USD 3.60 million), bringing the total worldwide box office collection to Rs. Approximately Rs 179 crore.
The fate of the film was sealed on its first day itself when it received a meager number of openings and the reception was even worse. It suffered a big drop over the weekend and that was it. On weekdays, due to Sankranthi holidays, especially on Wednesday and Thursday, the film managed to garner some numbers, but in the second weekend, as the holiday boost waned, the collections fell once again. Since there are no holidays left to curtail the performance, the film is now expected to flop and earn around Rs. But it will stop. 185-190 crores worldwide.
Ultimately, The Raja Saab is going to end up similar to last year’s Game Changer, which was a similar level of disaster, with the same opening, trending and now ending numbers. Raja Saab would end up with slightly higher numbers in Nizam and Karnataka, while Game Changer had higher “numbers” in Hindi. The cost of both the films is also at the same level, and the losses are also around Rs. 200 crores.
