After Aslam’s butter chicken, MasterShef Australia “contestant Depinder’s Raj Kachori wore judges. So much so that Judge Sophia Levin said, “If Raj is the king of Kachori Street Food, you are queen.”

If you have followed MasterShef Australia over the years, you will probably remember depinder, who impressed judges with his Indian food – Chhol, Kadhai Paneer, Gobi Paratha, Bhendi Fry, Stear Fried Rice, and a pickle made of special recipe of your grandmother. She was part of MasterShef Australia season 13.

This time, he shared a piece of his childhood by offering popular Indian Street Food, Raj Kachori. As he served the dish to the judges, the depress called it a special moment, “Because this dish catchs my childhood.”

As the depress gathered his Raj Kachori with spicy potatoes, chickpeas, groom with spicy yogurt, and chutney, the judges heard saying, “I am establishing saliva, recovering.”

Along with food, the contestant also served memories associated with this lip-smoking street food. Speaking about it, Depinder became emotional. “I don’t know why I am crying. I have this whole life. I used to get the whole thing. My mother and father were like, ‘Man, you are not going to be able to eat it by yourself.’ I would say, “I will,” but I never could finish it, “he shared, because the dish took him back on time.

As the judges attempted Raj Kachori, Depinder eagerly waited for his reactions. Chef Andy Allen enjoyed street food, commenting, “That’s all that is going on. And it works basically, all your senses are getting wild. I can only explain it to look, taste and texture. It reminds me how I describe India – basically anarchy.”
