Radhika Apte to start her direction with action-fantasy film Kotya
Accommodated actor Radhika Apte will soon start her direction with the action-fantasy film, Kotya. The announcement was made as a part of the Cineav-CHD market lineup.

Actor Radhika Apte is fully prepared to start her direction with the action-fantasy film, Kotya. The announcement was revealed during the Cinev-CD market lineup. The said lineup also includes at least 22 projects by a diverse group of filmmakers.
The variety reported that Kotya is a young migrant sugarcane cutter followed by a “Hindi/Marathi action-fantasy, which acquires superpower after a forced medical process and uses them to free his family from debt.” It will be allegedly bancolled by filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane.
Radhika Apte is known for her work such as Padman, Asthadun, Vikram Veda, a call to spy, kabali and lust stories, among others. He was last seen in BAFTA-Nominated film, Sister Midnight.
Sister Midnight earlier premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and received a BAFTA nomination at an outstanding beginning by a British writer, director or producer category.
In addition to many of its professional achievements, Apte has a lot to celebrate on the individual front. The actor recently welcomed a child with husband Benedict Taylor. The actor shared happy news on his social media handle, where he was seen breastfeeding the baby.
