The Hindi version of Pushpa 2 crossed the Rs 500 crore mark at the box office in eleven days. It earned Rs 116.5 crore in the second weekend, which includes the earnings of second Friday (Rs 24.5 crore), second Saturday (Rs 42 crore) and second Sunday (Rs 50 crore). The cume net collection of Pushpa 2 in Hindi language is Rs 508 crore till the second weekend.

Singham Again, releasing on Diwali 2024 (November 1, Friday) has crossed the Rs 100 crore club within three days of hitting the theatres. Ajay Devgan’s police drama grossed Rs 198.25 crore by the end of its second weekend.

Expectations of Pushpa 2 and decision of Singham Again

It is noteworthy that Pushpa 2 was released in theaters without any major competition. The Allu Arjun starrer is expected to cross the Rs 1500 crore mark at the worldwide box office. It has earned Rs 1000 crore globally.

Rohit Shetty’s semi-hit directed film competed with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 which proved to be a superhit. If released alone, this cop-action film, which earned Rs 240 crore nett in India by the end of its theatrical run, might have done better.
