Music composer Devi Sri Prasad, popularly known as DSP, in an exclusive interview with India Today Digital talks about the massive success of Pushpa 2, the challenges of living up to high expectations and his excitement about the much-awaited Pushpa 3. Told that director Sukumar is continuously working on the story of the third part.

The DSP expressed his gratitude to a long list of people who contributed to the success of Pushpa 2. “I’m really grateful and grateful to myself.” Director Sukumar, my dear friend Allu ArjunThe producers and everyone involved in Pushpa 1 and Pushpa 2. He credited Sukumar’s visionary storytelling and Allu Arjun’s dedication for making Pushpa 2 a phenomenon. “Sukumar sir created an extraordinary world with Pushpa, and I am extremely grateful for the tremendous love we have received. The massive success of Pushpa 1, both musically and cinematically, has been incredible. And now, with the tremendous reception of Pushpa 2, it Nothing short of historic,” he explained.

When asked if he expected such a huge response, the DSP revealed, “To be honest, we knew that Pushpa 2 would be massive, especially after the phenomenal success of Pushpa 1. Expectations were sky-high , and it came with its own set of challenges. But the love we got from all over India, whether it was in Telugu, Hindi, Kannada or any other language, people from Maharashtra, Kashmir, Nepal and other countries, it One It’s a blessing, you can say thank you.”

When asked if the anticipation of Pushpa 3 adds pressure, he shared, “Personally, I don’t take pressure when it comes to my work. Pressure can hinder creativity. Although the team has not officially started work Pushpa 3The DSP revealed that the ideas had been brewing for years, “From the day we started working on Pushpa’s World, we had fragments of musical ideas. I already had a few ideas, and Sukumar sir had his We had started working on these ideas even before we started work on Pushpa 2. There were some musical pieces that I had made that did not fit in Pushpa 2, but they could find a place in Pushpa 3. When the entire script was narrated, So certain elements were set aside for the next part. Although I have some fragments and ideas, the entire structure has not been finalized yet.”

He further added, “Now, based on the excitement of Pushpa 2, Sukumar sir has been working tirelessly on his passion, consistent visuals and story. Many things will eventually be tailored to the story of Pushpa 3. But yes, we are working on some pieces. “And there are ideas that will take shape as we move forward.”
