Producer Naga Vamsi clarified fans about the screen time of Junior NTR in ‘War 2’, confirming the actor that a complete-length role with Hrithik Roshan.

Ever since JR NTR was declared as part of the YRF spy universe with the upcoming action film ‘War 2’, fans are speculation, especially around the screen time and importance of his character. The teaser only enhanced the Chatter, questioning with many online users whether the truck role would be limited to a brief appearance. Now, producer Naga Vamsi has clarified the rumors, confirming that NTR’s film will have a full length role.
In an interview with Galte ProVamsi said, “It is not true to stay there for NTR 30-40 minutes. They will be in the entire film. After the first 15 minutes, the Tarak Anna will enter, and they will dance in both a song. It’s a commercially pack film.”
Vamsi’s banner, Star Entertainment, has acquired Telugu distribution rights for ‘War 2’ for Rs 80 crore. When asked about the decision, Vamsi said, “I bought it because all these commercial elements will be there. How will everything come together, even I will see it with the audience at the morning show. Based on my faith in NTR’s decision, I bought the film.”
Naga Vamsi, a close associate of JR NTR, is also building an ambitious mythological project of the actor along with Trivikram Srinivas, allegedly based on Lord Kartikeya.

Meanwhile, Hrithik Roshan and Junior NTR recently wrapped shooting for ‘War 2’. Directed by Ayan Mukherjee and Kiara Advani also acted, the action film is shot in five countries and has six large -scale set pieces. The film will hit theaters in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil on August 14, 2025.
