Priyanka Chopra Jonas celebrated International Women’s Day with a deeply personal social media post that chose nostalgia over glamour. The actor shared a series of childhood photos to honor the women who have shaped his life, giving fans a rare glimpse into the early years of those close to him.
The carousel began with a childhood photo of Chopra accompanied by the caption, “This is what it’s like to be so grateful.” The next slide features a youthful photo of her mother, with the simple caption: “Mother. She is the one who created me.”

In the caption of the post, she wrote, “Happy Women’s Day to the girls who run my world. My team. So grateful for your contributions and hard work every day. I couldn’t have done it without all of you. Also, to Rohini Iyer, Tess and so many other incredible women who surround me, I am grateful for you every day.”

The film tells the story of Ercel Boden, a former pirate known as “Bloody Mary”, who attempts to start a new life in the Cayman Islands, but is thrown into danger when an old rival resurfaces.
Looking ahead, Chopra will next be seen in SS Rajamouli’s ambitious project VaranasiSet for release in 2027. She will reportedly play the role of Mandakini alongside Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the film, which revolves around an ancient city facing the threat of an approaching asteroid.
