Director Rahul Sadasivan, who has previously made films like Brahmayugam, is expected to start work on his next film soon. Now reports suggest that Prithviraj Sukumaran and Manju Warrier may lead the project.
Prithviraj Sukumaran and Manju Warrier will be in lead roles in Rahul Sadasivan’s next film?
According to ongoing online reports, Brahmayugam director Rahul Sadasivan is preparing to launch his next venture soon. Reportedly, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Manju Warrier are set to lead the project. Although this is still speculation, an official announcement is expected soon.
Earlier, director Rahul Sadasivan had directed the project Dice Era, starring Pranab Mohanlal in the lead role. The film tells the story of Rohan, the son of an Indian-American architect, who lives a spoiled, rich-brat lifestyle in a posh area of Kerala. His prosperous life takes a serious turn when Kani, the girl with whom he was once engaged, dies.
At her funeral, Rohan twisted her hair clip and kept it as a memento before returning home. However, he soon begins to be possessed by Kani’s malevolent spirit. Frightened, Rohan finds answers to the haunting with the help of Madhusudhanan Potti.
Does Rohan escape the haunting and why is he being targeted forms the core of the film.
Apart from Pranab Mohanlal, the film featured Sushmita Bhatt, Gibin Gopinath, Jaya Kurup, Arun Ajikumar, Sridhanya, Madan Babu K, Sudha Sukumari and many others in lead roles. The film is now available for streaming on OTT platform JioHotstar.
Earlier, the director had also directed Mammootty-starrer Brahmayugam, which was an acclaimed venture.
Prithviraj Sukumaran and Manju Warrier’s workfront
Prithviraj Sukumaran recently completed the shooting of his upcoming release, I, Nobody. The upcoming political heist film will star Parvathy Thiruvothu in the co-lead role.
Looking ahead, the actor is currently shooting for Khalifa: Part 1 and will also be seen in Mahesh Babu-starrer Varanasi, directed by SS Rajamouli. Additionally, he has announced his second collaboration with GAN director Vipin Das for the film Santosh Trophy.
On the other hand, Manju Warrier will be seen in the lead role opposite Kunchacko Boban in the film Nere Chovva.
