Music composer Pritam shared a statement recently and defended the claims of Jenny Amids of Blackpink after a recent teaser, which looked similar to the theme song of Alia Bhatt’s Alia Bhatt’s Alia Bhatt.

Pritam, who composed songs for the film, rejected the claims of literary theft, making it clear that minor similarities in music are quite common.
Jenny ignited the debate of literary theft after releasing the teaser Like his new songs like Jenny, many fans claimed that it was allegedly copied from Karan Johar’s Rocky and Rani Keem Kahani. Many social media users in the comment section of the teaser of Jenny’s new song revealed how it seemed at all felt like the theme song in KJO’s film, which used to introduce Alia Bhatt’s character, queen.
Now, Pritam has shared a post defending K-POP artists. “Rani and Jenny are the names that poem, so a similar flow in a phrase does not make it a copy. In music, minor similarities are bound to be rhyme, phrase or even within the same style. Instead of focusing on small details, it is important to look at the big picture (SIC), ”read his statement.

Connecting, he emphasized how, in today’s mutual connected world, artists share platforms and impacts, there is no possibility of intentional literary theft. “Instead of focusing on small details, it is important to see a big picture.
