Prabhas is currently shooting for a period film directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, tentatively titled Prabhasahanu. He is expected to announce his next project with Prashant Verma soon.
According to a quote from Ram Venkat Sreekar of Galatta Telugu, director Prashanth has released the teaser of his upcoming film, which will have a leading star in the lead role. The director said in his tweet, “I am working with a very big star. We have created a poster, and it is ready. I will announce it soon.
For those unaware, there is a lot of buzz that the Hanuman director will soon be collaborating with the Rebel star for one of his upcoming ventures. Additionally, the film is expected to bring the actor into the director’s cinematic universe, PVCU (Prashanth Verma Cinematic Universe).
Furthermore, the production company, Hombale Films recently announced that they will be funding Prabhas’ three movie lineup. The first of these is Salaar: Part 2 – Shooryang Parvam, directed by Prashanth Neel. While the sequel film is scheduled to release in 2026, the makers had also announced that Prabhas’ two more films will be released in 2027 and 2028.
One is speculated to be directed by Prashanth Varma, and the other is rumored to be the Kalki actor’s collaboration with director Lokesh Kanagaraj. However, the makers have not yet given any official confirmation regarding these speculations.
Furthermore, Prashant Varma recently made headlines when he announced the much-awaited sequel of his 2024 blockbuster Hanuman. The sequel, Jai Hanuman, will feature Rishabh Shetty as the lead character and will also be set inside PVCU. Additionally, films like Maha Kali and Adhira are also set within the universe.

On the other hand, Prabhas is all set to hit the big screen with his horror-comedy film The Raja Saab. The film, scheduled to release on April 10, 2025, will introduce a completely new element to the actor and expect him to play a dual role.
Furthermore, the actor is also said to have started working on Spirit with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, which will have its muhurat in December 2024 followed by shooting in 2025.
