Poonam Dhillon defended Sridevi: she was fantastic, not dumb as the media claimed
Veteran actor Poonam Dhillon recently talked about the image of the late actor Sridevi in the media in an interview. He defended Sridevi and said that he was not as dumb as the media claimed.

Veteran actor Poonam Dhillon said on Monday that late actor Sridevi was not ‘dumb’ as he was often painted in the media. Dhilan called her a bright and fast woman and said that she refuses to believe otherwise.
In an interview with ANIThe 63 -year -old said, “Sridevi is such a brilliant actor. If she was dumb she could not be so spectacular. The media will write, ‘Oh she is dumb. She will say,’ Ask mother, ask, ask mother. ‘I say she is a very bright and sharp girl.
She also praised her work and said, “I have always been a fan of her work. I have worked with her in some films. But she was in a control.” Both shared screen space in films like ‘Son Pe Suhag’ and ‘Judai’.
Dhillon shared that he even acted dumb for years. He said, “Oh, I have done this for years. I was a dumb blond. I did not understand anything that had been saying anything for years and years. It was for two reasons. Sometimes, if non-vegetarian jokes were broken on the set, you were not sitting with them and not a cave.
The experienced actor said, “The moment you begin to backslips and start cracking non-vegetarian jokes with the heroes, they, in our time, thought that it is a sign that you are a little more than being ready for some things. So dumb was very convenient over the years.”
On the work front, Poonam Dhillon was last seen in Ritish Deshmukh and Tamannaah Bhatia-Starr ‘Plan A Plan B’. She was also part of the Jiohotstar show ‘Dil Bekaraar’.
