Superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming action thriller, cool, has been making waves anytime since its announcement. Fans are excited about Thalary’s role and possible cameo. Recently, it was rumored that actor Pooja Hegde was planted for a special dance number in Cool.

If the reports are to be believed, it will be the third special song of Pooja in a film. His previous dance numbers were well obtained in Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam and Venkatesh Daggubato’s F3. Rajinikanth’s jailer depicted Tamanna in a special number, which became a big hit. With coolie, the manufacturers appear to try a similar formula. Although there is no official confirmation yet, the news has already created enthusiasm among fans.

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraja, the coolie is an action-pack recreational who revolves around the gold smuggling mafia and is ready to show the superstar in a separate role. The film stars a dress actress, including Nagarjuna, Upendra, Shruti Haasan, Satyaraj, Saubin Shahir, Sundarp Kishan and Reba Monica John, while Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is allegedly making a cameo appearance. The music of the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichender.

Coulie manufacturers initially planned 2025 release in summer, but the schedule was delayed due to Rajinikanth’s health concerns. They are now targeting for the release of August 2025, expecting an official announcement soon.

Meanwhile, Pooja, who was last seen in Dev with Shahid Kapoor, is ready for her next Tamil film, retro directed by Karthik Subberaj. The filmmaker cast him after he was allegedly impressed by his emotional performance at Radhe Shyam. Retro made her first collaboration with Suria and also includes Jairam, Jujo George, Karunakaran, Nasar and Prakash Raj.
