As the holiday season begins, actors from different regions of India have reached out to their fans to wish them a happy Pongal. Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Prabhu Deva, Jr NTR, Suriya and other celebrities expressed their wishes highlighting the importance of Pongal among the entertainment industry and their fan communities.

This year, the Pongal festival is celebrated from January 14 to 17, with each of the four days having a different significance. The festival begins with Bhogi, followed by Thai Pongal, Mattu Pongal and concludes with Kannam Pongal.

To celebrate this auspicious occasion, Rajinikanth met fans outside his residence early in the morning. His presence attracted crowds who had gathered to celebrate the festival and receive his personal greetings.

Earlier on Wednesday, Suriya extended his wishes, saying, “Happy Pongal and Sankranti everyone! Heartiest wishes to Karthi and team, Va Vaathiyar. The occasion coincides with the launch of Karthi’s film.” Or Vathiyar.

Director Pa Ranjith shared his wishes and said, “Sending best wishes to all वा वाथियार Team up for a spectacular and joyous Pongal release. I’m already hearing rave reviews. Best wishes to @kegvraja, @Karthi_Offl sir and @NalanKumarasam1 for great success. Wish the film reaches a wide audience.

“Happy Pongal to all,” Jr NTR posted on social media. Director Buchi Babu Sana pedishared a picture with Ram Charan along with the message, “Wishing you all a very happy Pongal,” and a heart emoji.
