The most controversial Kannada actor, Darshan Thoogudeepa, is in judicial custody in connection with the brutal murder of his apparent admirer, Renuka Swamy. In the latest development, another chargesheet will reportedly be filed soon against Darshan in the Renuka Swamy murder case. According to a report in Asianet Newsable Kannada, the police will file a chargesheet against Darshan, gangster Nagaraj and another gangster in connection with the alleged special facility case at the Agrahara Central Jail in Parappana, which had recently created a controversy.
Furthermore, reports reveal that after Darshan Thoogudeepa was transferred from the jail to Bellary jail due to VIP treatment, the investigation revealed evidence in support of the allegations and confirmed the jail authorities’ complicity in the act.
Furthermore, sources claimed that the Electronic City Sub-Division Police has partially completed the investigation in this case and has made final preparations to file the charge sheet in the court. At present, the police have provided the list of charges to legal experts for review and after taking their opinion they will take the final steps.
Let us tell you that Darshan Thoogudeepa was transferred from Agrahara Central Jail in Parappana after the picture and video of him allegedly getting VIP treatment inside the jail went viral. The viral photo shows the Chandan star casually smoking a cigarette with gangster Nagaraj alias Wilson Garden Naga in the jail lawn. It is pertinent to mention that Wilson Garden Naga has been booked under the Karnataka Organized Crime Control Act, 2000 for his role in the murder of gangster Siddapura Mahesh.
In another video released, Thoogudeua is seen making a video call from Parappana Agrahara Central Jail. In the 25-second video, a man wearing a yellow T-shirt is seen making a call. After this Darshan comes on the screen and waves happily towards the other person.
As soon as this picture and video surfaced online, the actor accused of murder was shifted to Bellary jail. Furthermore, after they were shifted, a raid was conducted inside the jail, which confirmed the presence of several cigarettes, phones and knives, among other things.
