The iPhone 16 series is now available to buy in India. The iPhone 16 models are now available on Amazon, Flipkart and the official Apple website, Apple Store, and even third-party sellers. So, if you are an existing iPhone user and planning to upgrade, you can avail additional discounts when exchanging your old iPhone for the new iPhone 16 at the Apple Store.
This year’s iPhone 16 lineup includes the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max, with all models featuring Apple’s new intelligence. One special feature is that a dedicated camera control button is available on every iPhone 16 model. If you have an iPhone 13, you can get a trade-in value of up to Rs 25,000 when you exchange it for a new phone. This is the amount Apple offered for our three-year-old iPhone 13 with 86 per cent battery health. You can check the trade-in value at the Apple Store or on their official website by providing your phone’s serial number. For the highest trade-in value, your phone should be in excellent condition. If you get Rs 25,000 for your iPhone 13, the price of the new phone will come down by around Rs 54,900. Keep in mind, the trade-in value may vary depending on the storage variant of your device.
Cashback on iPhone 12
If you are currently using an iPhone 12, upgrading to the iPhone 16 is a smart move, as the iPhone 12 is now four generations old, and the iPhone 16 has many new features and improvements. When we checked, Apple’s website offered Rs 17,000 as trade-in value for the iPhone 12. This brings the price of the iPhone 16 down to Rs 62,900 for the 128GB variant. Given the advancements in technology and performance, upgrading is a very sensible move, especially when you can reduce the price by exchanging your old device.

If you already have an iPhone 15, upgrading to the iPhone 16 may not be worth it, as there is very little difference between the two. Key changes include camera control buttons and a new A18 chipset, but there are no major upgrades. However, if you want the latest model, you can trade in your iPhone 15 for Rs 32,000, which will make the iPhone 16 cost Rs 47,900 for the 128GB variant. For those with an iPhone 14 Plus, the trade-in value is slightly higher. The Apple Store offered Rs 34,600 for the 512GB variant of the iPhone 14 Plus.
